Activities

The main activity we undertake is Education, alongwith that some other activities and vocational training to the girls are provided which  are as follows:

1. Academic Education

Girls from 5th standard till college in arts and commerce stream study at Karunavihar Kanya Sadan

2. Tuition in hard subjects

Tuition for special subject like Science, Mathematics, English and Social Studies is given by well trained and experienced tutors.

3. Library

It includes material related to academics, guides, current affairs, encyclopedia, philosophy, political sciences, history and many more. 

4. Training:

The girls are provided with vocational training also so that they can be self reliant and self depended in future. 

a. Computer

As it is also a part of academic studies additional training is also provided in computers.

b. Tailoring

Sewing and tailoring training is provided with a certificate which will be helpful to them in future for advanced studies in the field of fashion designing.

c. Hand Embroidery

Kutch is world famous for its hand embroidery work. Kutchi embroidery, freehand, hand work is main in of hand embroidery training. 

d. Cooking
Basic teaching for cooking and also special dishes training

e. Art and Craft
Preparing articles of craft from old and used items, restoring old items and making new articles from it. 

5. School Rickshaw
A school rickshaw help to transport girls from hostel to school and back. 

6. Karate Yoga Meditation; as part of the self defense

7. Cultural
Other cultural activities like garba, dance, music and drama is also practiced on ocassions. 

We are working hard to make it better and provide more better facilities to our girls.
